It was a star-studded week in Washington, D.C., last week for the MLS All-Star Game and surrounding festivities, including our very own 2nd Annual Creators Cup 3v3 Tournament put on in partnership with BODYARMOR Sports Drink.
Last Tuesday, we took over Hi-Lawn at Union Market in the Nation’s Capital alongside American soccer’s favorite MLS legends, global digital influencers, and top media personalities for a community-wide party that included exclusive prizes, a Captain’s Skills Challenge, music, food, and activities.
Eight different teams with on-camera and on-field brought the laughs entertainment with stars like “This Week in MLS” host Eli Lesser; “SoccerGrlProbs” personalities Alanna Locast and Joanna Lohman; former MLS stars Amobi Okugo, Heath Pearce, Calen Carr, Chris Pontius, Patrick Mullins, and Jalil Anibaba; CBS Sports’ Aaron West; and Bleacher Report’s Elischa Edouard.
For Soccer’s “Orange Slices” team with Pearce, Carr, Michael Millay, Darrius Barnes, and Jeff Attinella won the 2023 Creators Cup trophy in the end, putting an exclamation point on a great activation during North America’s annual celebration of soccer.
