Organizations will leverage community engagement, commercial partnerships and targeted media strategies ahead of the 2026 FIFA Men’s World Cup coming to North America
MIAMI, November 14, 2024—The Argentine Football Association (AFA), the reigning FIFA World Cup men’s champions and the world’s top-ranked football federation, is excited to announce a strategic partnership with For Soccer, the preeminent North American soccer marketing, media and experiences company.
The collaboration will focus on expanding the AFA’s presence throughout the U.S. through community engagement, commercial development and strategic media initiatives ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup coming to the continent.
With current sports development programs such as the AFA Academies and current US Sponsors such as American Express, Fanatics, McDonald’s, among 55 other international brands, the AFA will count on For Soccer’s experience in media, marketing, storytelling and community participation to assist in the expansion and new scope of the AFA brand in the United States – creating deeper connections with diverse American soccer audiences.

Since arriving in the United States in 2021, AFA opened its US headquarters in the Wynwood district of Miami in August 2023, before the 2024 Copa América. Since 2023, AFA has also opened AFA centers and Academies in the Florida region and co-created the Global Leadership Certificate, a 10-week sports leadership program with Florida International University (FIU) in the US.
Built on a shared belief in the power of community connections and youth development, the partnership with For Soccer will only strengthen the AFA’s presence in the U.S. For Soccer is committed to growing the game in the U.S. through various programs and initiatives, with a special focus on Hispanic communities.
